Isabella Teng

Isabella Teng is an artist working in the area of site-specific installation. Her projects aim to transform everyday spaces into imaginative realms, where multiple perceptual possibilities exist. Her MA research examines the nature of perception through the intersection of line, space, text and illusion, and explores how perceptual shifts may be made possible through humour in art.

Isabella previously received her BA (Hons) in English Literature from the National University of Singapore, and spent a scholarship year at Yale University. She last participated in “3+3+3: On Condition” (2021) at The Private Museum, Singapore, and the Contemporary Print Show “Arise” (2021-22), at the ASEAN Culture House in Busan, ROK.

Isabella is also one-half of collaborative art duo MIRROR.
